About him

Zulkifli Salleh is a film-maker who creates moving images that tell
meaningful stories of life.

With a design background and a strong passion in video and photography, he strives to tell his stories in visually appealing camera works and movement tastefully edited to music to unfold the story.

He graduated as the top student in his course with a Diploma with Merit in Moving Images from Temasek Polytechnic Design School. His graduating short film project, “Impian Si Mamat” was awarded the Panasonic Asia Pacific Special Industry Prize for the Most Outstanding High Defination Production. He was also awarded the Media Development Authority Gold Course Award. He was also awarded various other awards for his works.

While still in school, he began his own freelance collective “zero3studio” in 2003 which handles design, photography and video projects and made it an official business when he turned 21.

His media experiences includes motion and visual communications for corporations, directing various films, t-shirt designs, sneaker designs for exhibition by brands like Reebok and Onitsuka Tiger, being a producer in a game development team at GAMBIT; a collaboration between Media Development Authority and Massachussets Institute of Technology and alot more creative projects.

He looks forward to collaborate, share and learn from the industry on any opportunities.

“Kindness...It starts small” was awarded the Grand prize and Best Thematic prize at Yourfim.sg film-making competition.

Selected in 2007 to be part of a games development project in Massachussets Institute of Technology.
